I’m a wood hoarder. So when little #1 asked if he could put a poster up in his new bedroom I immediately knew this would be a scrap wood project. Sure, I could just put the poster up with bluetac, but where’s the fun in that? Grab your mitre saw – let’s go build something!
1. Measure your poster.
2. Cut your scrap wood.
4. Paint the frame.
5. Glue your poster on and admire your handiwork.
My happiness is threefold: I got the tick of approval from #1; I got to make something (for free!); and I used up a tiny portion of my scrap wood. High fives!
If anyone does indeed build a frame for an 80’s poster you can email me a photo of it at kate(at)houseofhollingsworthblog(dot)com because that awesomeness needs to be seen!
